The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) is a stock exchange in India. The NSE was the first stock exchange in the country to implement a computerised trading system. The exchange first opened its doors in 1994. According to the World Federation of Exchanges, it is the largest stock exchange in terms of annual equity trading turnover. 

The exchange offers a fully integrated digital trading module that includes data feeds, technology-oriented services, settlement and clearing services, online trading services, financial literacy services, and more. NSE is open for transactions from Monday to Friday with holidays on Saturday and Sunday. It is open for trading from 9.15 a.m. till 3.30 p.m. providing 6 hours and 15 minutes of trading hours.
