BSE (previously known as Bombay Stock Exchange) was founded in 1875 and is Asia’s first and fastest stock exchange, with a speed of 6 microseconds. It is also one of India’s top exchange groups. BSE has aided the expansion of the Indian corporate sector by offering an effective capital-raising platform for the past 143 years. The BSE, or Bombay Stock Exchange, was founded in 1875 as ‘The Native Share & Stock Brokers’ Association.’ In 2017, BSE became India’s first publicly traded stock exchange.

Today, the BSE provides an efficient and transparent market for trading in stocks, bonds, derivatives, and mutual funds. The BSE SME is India’s largest SME marketplace, with over 250 companies listed and a steady growth rate. BSE StAR MF is India’s largest online mutual fund platform, with over 27 lakh monthly transactions and about 2 lakh new SIPs added each month. With more than Rs 2.09 lakh crore raised through 530 issuances, BSE Bond, the transparent and efficient electronic book mechanism procedure for private placement of debt instruments, is the market leader.

However, BSE is closed on multiple occasions such as national holidays and festivals. In this article we have covered BSE Holidays 2023 for equities segment, New Debt Segment, currency derivatives, and commodity derivatives.
