How to Invest in ICICI Mutual Funds?

  • Visit Scripbox and Begin the Investment Journey: On the homepage of the Scripbox website, click on “Let’s get started” button. A list of investment options based on life goals is available. For investing in mutual funds, pick any of the options close to one’s financial goals. Click on “Continue” to proceed with the mutual fund scheme investment.
  • Signup and Create an Account: Create an account with Scripbox. Upon logging in, the investor can see the details of the investment. The investor can choose the payment option. One can select “Every month SIP” (SIP route) or “One-time” (Lumpsum route) payment options. The choice of payment mode depends on multiple factors, for example, investor cash flow. Also, one can use the Scripbox SIP calculator to determine the potential returns from a SIP mutual fund scheme investment. The Scripbox SIP calculator is available online for free. To proceed towards investment, click on “See Recommended Funds.”
  • Check the Plan and Fund Allocation: The list of mutual funds and the allocated investment amount for the selected plan is shown on this page. Check all the details before proceeding ahead. Also, if the investor wishes to change the fund or investment amount, one can click on the option, “I want to change Funds/ Amount.” Click on the “Next” button to make payment.
  • Bank Details and Money Transfer: The last step requires the investor to enter the saving account and PAN Card details. All the investor information is protected in a secure environment provided by Scripbox. Moreover, the bank saving account will only be used for investing and crediting the redemption proceeds only.

KYC Required to Invest in ICICI Mutual Fund/ Scripbox

KYC is an acronym for “Know Your Customer.” All the client details can be verified with KYC anytime. SEBI has prescribed requirements for KYC. An investor has to be KYC compliant while investing in a SEBI registered mutual fund. A KYC form will include address, identity, financial status, demographic information, and occupation.

One can get their KYC done with Scripbox. The following KYC documents required by Resident Indians and PIO residing in India:

  1. Photograph
  2. Address proof (Driving License/Passport/ Aadhar Card (Both Front & Back)/Voter ID Card)
  3. Pan Card
  4. Video Selfie: Record a video by facing the camera for 5 seconds
  5. KYC Authorisation Letter. (Please write on a while plain sheet of paper that “I authorise Scripbox to do my mutual fund KYC” & sign below it)

How to Download ICICI Mutual Fund Investment Statement?

The following steps can be used to download your mutual fund investment statement using the Scripbox App:

  1. Firstly, open your Scripbox App
  2. Secondly, visit the ‘Profile’ tab to access your investments
  3. Thirdly, check the ‘Investment History’ option to get all details
  4. Fourthly, select ‘Email Me’. As a result, you will receive an email. You will receive a downloadable link to your Scripbox Investment History in that email.
  5. Lastly, download your investment statement in excel format by clicking on the link.

The excel statement will have the following details:

  1. Orders Tab: All the details regarding your investment at this instant are available in this section. It includes the folio number, investor name, fund name, and amounts invested. You can also view units allocated, NAV, STT, and purpose.
  2. Current Holding Tab: In this section, you can view information on how many funds you are invested in at the present time. It includes details such as fund name, number of units, the current value of the investment. Other details such as folio number, and purpose, etc. are also available in this section.
