Investing in UTI Mutual Funds online via Scripbox is an easy and convenient process. All you need to do is follow the few simple steps mentioned below.

  • Visit the Scripbox Website for a list of Investment Plans: On the Scripbox Homepage click on the “Let’s Get Started” button to unlock a list of investment options as per your life goal. For investing in Mutual Funds, pick any of the options best suited to your financial goal. Click on“Continue” to proceed with Mutual Fund Investment
  • Now sign up to create an account: If you are an existing Scripbox member, Sign in with your details. When you sign in, a list of different investment options will appear on your screen. Scripbox allows investors to select the payment option. You can select “Every month SIP” or “One-time payment” option depending on your cash flow. you can choose a SIP investment  as per your convenience. Click on the “See Recommended Funds” to proceed for investment.
  • Check the Plan and Fund Allocation: A list of mutual funds and the allocated amount for the selected plan is shown on this page. Read the details carefully before proceeding ahead. If you wish to change the fund or amount, you can do that by clicking on the option, “I want to change Funds/ Amount.” Now click on the “Next” button to make the payment.
  • Bank Details and Money Transfer: Now you need to enter the bank account and PAN details. Scripbox provides a secure environment for payment. A bank account is used for investing and crediting the redemption proceeds only.

KYC Required To Invest In UTI Mutual Fund

KYC means for “Know Your Customer”. It helps in identifying an investor through relevant documents. SEBI has prescribed certain guidelines for KYC. An investor has to fulfill the KYC procedure before investing in a SEBI registered mutual fund. A KYC form will include details of identity, address, financial status, occupation, and demographic information.

The following steps will guide you to download your mutual fund investment statement using the Scripbox App:

  • The first step is to open the Scripbox App

Mr. Amandeep Chopra is the Group President & Head of Fixed Income UTI AMC Limited. He has been a part of UTI AMC since 1994.  He began his career as a ‘Research Analyst’ and later moved into Fund Management. Mr. Chopra possesses a bachelor’s degree in B.Sc. (Computer Science) from St. Stephens College, Delhi. He also holds an MBA Degree from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. (Instrumentation) graduate from the College of Engineering and a PGDM from IIM Calcutta. He has been working with UTI AMC since 1994. Mr. Dongre started his career as a Debt analyst and was acting as a support service for fund management activity. He also worked as an Equity Research analyst covering a wide range of corporate and industries. Subsequently, he worked as an Equity Dealer During this period he was handling all the activities relating to secondary equity market operations. Prior to joining UTI, he has worked with Reliance Petrochemicals Ltd. as an officer-in-charge of the Instrumentation Department. In July 2000, he joined the Equity fund management team and is currently working as a Sr. Fund Manager for Equity.
