How to Invest in PGIM Mutual Funds?

Mutual fund investments are as easy as online shopping with Scripbox. Scripbox is an online platform that enables investment in mutual funds at a click of a mouse. To invest in mutual funds, one has to follow the steps below.

  • Visit Scripbox Website and Begin the Investment Journey : Go to Scripbox’s website and on its homepage click on the button “Let’s get started”. By doing so, a list of investment options based on life goals is displayed. One can choose one or multiple financial goals based on their requirements to invest in mutual funds. To go ahead with mutual fund investment, click on the “Continue” button.
  • Signup and Create an Account: This step requires one to create an account with Scripbox. One has to do is use their e-mail id to create an account with Scripbox. Once the account is created and the user logs in, a list of payment options and the amount of investment will be available. One has to enter the investment amount in the space provided. Then, they have to choose between SIP or lumpsum by clicking on either “Every month SIP” or “One-time” payment option. One can use Scripbox’s mutual fund calculators to estimate their potential returns. For SIP investment, they can use a SIP calculator, and for the lumpsum investment, they have the lumpsum calculator. Lastly, to see the recommended funds, one has to click on “See Recommended Funds” button and the list of funds suggested by Scripbox will be displayed.
  • Changing the Fund and Fund Allocation: In this step, one will be able to see the list of mutual funds and the investment amount for each fund. One has to check all the details before proceeding ahead. One always has an option to change the investment amount and the funds by clicking “I want to change funds/amount”. Doing so, they can alter their investment portfolio. Click on “Next” to make payment.
  • Bank Details and Money Transfer: In this step, one has to give their banks account details and PAN card details. This will enable Scripbox to process the mutual fund scheme investment. Scripbox provides a secure environment for investing. The bank details will only be used for investing and crediting redemption proceeds.

KYC Required to Invest in PGIM Mutual Fund

KYC or Know Your Customer is used to identify a client. SEBI mandates all investors to be KYC compliant, and only then they can invest in SEBI registered mutual fund scheme. SEBI prescribes all the KYC requirements. A KYC form includes details of identity, address, financial status, demographics, and occupation of a person.

One can have their KYC done online with Scripbox. Resident Indians and PIO residing in India would need the following documents for KYC.

  • Pan Card
  • Photograph
  • Address proof (Driving License/Passport/ Aadhar Card (Both Front & Back)/Voter ID Card)

How to Download PGIM Mutual Fund Investment Statement?

You can download your mutual fund investment statement using the Scripbox App. Following are the steps to download it:

  • Firstly, open the Scripbox App on your device
  • Secondly, visit the ‘Profile’ tab
  • Thirdly, click on the ‘Investment History’ option
  • Fourthly, select ‘Email Me’. As a result, you will receive an email from Scripbox. This email will have a downloadable link to your Scripbox Investment History.
  • Lastly, click on the link received in your email to download your investment statement in excel format.

The excel statement will have the following details:

  1. Orders Tab: In this section, you can view all the details regarding your investment. It provides details such as the folio number, investor name, fund name, amounts invested, units allocated, NAV, STT, and purpose.
  2. Current Holding Tab: In this section, you can view information on how many funds you are currently invested in. It includes details such as fund name, number of units, the current value of the investment, folio number, and purpose.
