HDFC Mutual Fund is launching a new index fund, HDFC S&P BSE 500 Index Fund, that seeks to track the S&P BSE 500 Index closely and aims to achieve returns of the index, subject to tracking errors.
The New Fund Offer (NFO) period for the HDFC S&P BSE 500 Index Fund is from 6th April 2023 to 18th April 2023. The scheme re-opens for continuous repurchase and sale within 5 business days from the date of allotment.
Investment Objective: To generate returns that are commensurate (before fees and expenses) with the performance of the S&P BSE 500 Index TRI (Underlying Index), subject to tracking error. There is no assurance that the investment objective of the Scheme will be realized.
