Dear Reader,

As we turn the page to 2026, I have been thinking a lot about the nature of change.

In my recent letters, we have discussed milestones (crossing ₹20,000 Crore) and markets (the unpredictability of the world). Growth is exciting, and change is, of course, inevitable.

But I know that often, when a company grows, clients quietly worry about the other side of that coin.

Will they become too corporate? Will they start pushing products I don’t need? Will I become just a number in a spreadsheet?

So, for this first letter of the new year, I want to discuss the opposite of change. I want to talk about consistency.

To us, “Scripbox” is about more than a logo or an app. It is a promise kept over time. It is what you can expect from us, every single day, regardless of how large we grow or how the markets behave.

As we embark on 2026, here is my personal commitment to you.

1. The promise of being human

At Scripbox, technology exists to remove friction, handle complexity, and give us more time to do the most important work of all: being present with you.

In an era of automated intelligence, we promise to remain personal. Whether you are resolving a simple query or navigating one of life’s complex turns, you will find empathy here. We pride ourselves on the fact that behind every solution is a team that genuinely cares about your peace of mind. You will, thus, always have access to someone who understands your context.

2. The promise of evidence over emotion

In 2026, there will be hype. There will be fear. There will be narratives that sound incredibly convincing.

Our promise is to be your anchor. We will never make a decision based on mood, breaking news, or gut feeling. Every recommendation we make is backed by data and a scientific process designed to filter out human bias. You will always find judgment alongside data.

3. The promise of ownership

Finally, and most importantly, we promise you will always find us sitting firmly on your side of the table

Whether it is rebalancing your portfolio when markets drift or helping you navigate a withdrawal for a family wedding or a new home, we view ourselves as stewards of your wealth above all else.

Putting promises into practice

Why do these promises matter right now? Because we understand what is on your mind as we enter 2026.

When geopolitics dominate the headlines:

You will see news about tariffs, supply chains, and border tensions. This is where evidence over emotion protects you. We act as your filter, focusing on data rather than political drama, ensuring your plan stays steady while the world argues.

When economic uncertainty hits:

Whether it is inflation or growth concerns, the economy will send mixed signals. This is where ownership matters. Looking beyond returns, we are obsessively managing risk. We treat your capital with the same caution and respect we treat our own.

When technology feels overwhelming:

As AI reshapes industries and careers, I understand that it is easy to feel uncertain. That is when our promise of being human becomes your sanctuary. We are here to talk through how these shifts affect your life goals. These are conversations an algorithm simply cannot have.

The constant in the equation

These promises aren’t new.

In fact, these are the exact same principles we began with when Scripbox was just an idea in a small room in Indiranagar, long before we managed ₹20,000 Crore.

We started Scripbox because we felt the financial world was designed to confuse rather than clarify. We wanted to craft an organisation where families could build wealth without the noise, the clutter, or the conflict of interest.

That mission hasn’t changed by an inch.

The algorithms have gotten smarter. The team has grown larger. But my team’s desire to see you succeed without stress, remains the bedrock of everything we do.

Our commitment for 2026

The markets in 2026 will fluctuate. Taxes might change. Narratives will shift. But these three promises will not. This is my, and my team’s, commitment: To be present. To be human. To practise personal stewardship,  at any scale.

Here’s to a year of keeping promises.

With gratitude,

Atul Shinghal,

Founder and CEO, Scripbox

P.S. If there is a specific worry keeping you up at night, whether it is about the market in 2026 or a personal financial milestone, hit reply. Let’s have that conversation.
