About Baroda Pioneer Mutual Fund

Baroda Pioneer Mutual Fund AMC is one of the largest companies in India. It is a joint venture of two most established financial services companies- Bank of Baroda and Pioneer Investments.

Baroda Asset Management India Limited was established in 1992. It is a subsidiary of Bank of Baroda. 

Pioneer Global Asset Management S.p.A was established in 1928 in Milano, Italy. It was the Asset Manager of UniCredit S.p.A which is an Italian Multinational Banking and Financial Services Company.

However, in 2016, UniCredit sold Pioneer Investments to Amundi, a French Asset Management Company. Later, in 2008, Pioneer Global Asset Management S.p.A acquired 51% stake in Baroda Asset management Company Ltd. The Company so formed out of this acquisition was named as  Baroda Pioneer Asset Management Company Limited.

Baroda Pioneer Mutual Fund serves the various asset management needs of its investors in India. They offer a wide range of products in equity, debt and money markets. Since its formation in 2008, Baroda Pioneer has been working to create a platform best suited to its investors. 

The Company offers its services through 54 distribution centers in India. It manages overall assets of about Rs. 7303.11cr invested in various schemes.

However, their focus is to enhance the overall customer experience. To achieve this, Baroda Pioneer AMC is working towards enhancing the existing product range. They plan to include products that will provide investors with a much wider choice best suited to their diverse needs and risk profiles.

  3. Check the Plan and Fund Allocation

    A list of mutual funds to invest online and the allocated amount for the selected plan is shown on this page. Read the details before proceeding ahead. If you wish to change the fund or amount, you can do that by clicking on the option, “I want to change Funds/ Amount.” Now click on the”Next” button to make the payment.

  4. Bank Details and Money Transfer

    In the last step, you need to enter the bank account and PAN details. Scripbox provides a secure environment for payment. A bank account is used for investing and crediting the redemption proceeds only.

KYC Required To Invest In Baroda Mutual Fund

Earlier, he was the Fund Manager at BoB Mutual Fund from August 2003. Before this he also worked with Bank of Baroda, where he worked in the Treasury Department and Credit Department from 10 years.

Academically, Mr Acharya is an m.Com with added qualifications of AICWA, CAIIB and PGPMS.

Mr Pratish Krishnan

Mr Krishnan is the Fund Manager- Equity and Senior Analyst at Baroda Pioneer Asset Management Company. He has over 15 years of experience in Equity Research.

Earlier, he worked with leading institutional brokerage houses such as :

  • Antique Finance (April 2012-August 2014)
  • Bank of America Merrill Lynch (September 2006-April 2012)

Academically, Mr Krishnan is a B.Com Graduate. In addition, he has also done MMS in Finance. 

Debt Fund Managers 

Alok Sahoo

Mr sahoo is the Head of Fixed income at Baroda Pioneer Asset Management Company. Being in the asset management industry, he has about 13 years of experience. He also has experience in the credit research of companies. 

Earlier, he worked with UTI Mutual Fund and HSBC Mutual Fund as Fixed Income Fund Manager. He was also a Fund Manager for Employee Provident Fund at HBC Asset Management. 

Academically. Mr sahoo is a Management Graduate in Finance from XIM, Bhubaneswar with BE Degree from NIT. In addition, he has passed three levels of CFA conducted by CFA Institute (AIMR). He has also done Financial Risk Management (FRM) conducted by Global Association of Risk Professionals.

Ms Hetal P. Shah

Ms Shah is the Fund Manager- Debt at Baroda Pioneer Asset Management Company. She has been associated with the Company since December 2006. She has about 14 years of experience in treasury and fund management. 

Earlier, she worked in the Treasury Department of Bank of India from May 1999. 

Academically, Ms Shah has done her B.Com. She has also done her MBA and JAIIB.

Mr Karn Kumar

Mr Kumar is the Fund Manager-Debt and Senior Credit Analyst at Baroda Pioneer Asset Management Company. He has over 13 years of experience in Fixed Income, Credit Research, and Corporate Finance. 

Earlier, he worked with CRISIL Limited and ICICI Bank in areas of credit research and structure finance. He has also worked with Sterlite Industries Limited in the Corporate Finance Team.

Academically, Mr Kumar is a B.Com (Hons) Graduate and a qualified Chartered Accountant.
