As of December 31, 2016, its electric transmission and distribution system included 24,000 circuit miles; and 851,000 poles, as well as 4 electric distribution headquarters and 5 sub-headquarters. It also owned and operated 18,000 miles of gas mains; owned 12 gas distribution headquarters and 2 sub-headquarters; owned 1 meter shop; operated 61 natural gas metering and regulating stations; and owned and operated 47 switching stations with an aggregate installed capacity of 30,037 megavolt-amperes (MVA) and 246 substations with an aggregate installed capacity of 8,179 MVA.
