The primary investment objective of the Scheme is to seek capital appreciation by investing predominantly in units of BlackRock Global Funds US Flexible Equity Fund (BGF - USFEF). The Scheme may,at the discretion of the Investment Manager,also invest in the units of other similar overseas mutual fund schemes,which may constitute a significant part of its corpus. The Scheme may also invest a certain portion of its corpus in money market securities and/ or money market/liquid schemes of DSP Mutual Fund,in order to meet liquidity requirements from time to time. However,there is no assurance that the investment objective of the Scheme will be realized. It shall be noted 'similar overseas mutual fund schemes' shall have investment objective,investment strategy and risk profile/consideration similar to those of BGF – USFEF.

It primarily invests in US-based leading companies exhibiting huge innovation and leading many global trends & investment themes. The fund provides its Indian investors an opportunity to invest in US companies through an investment in the fund. The fund was previously known as DSP BlackRock US Flexible Equity Reg Gr.
DSP Mutual Fund manages the fund. The fund is being co-managed by Mr. Jay Kothari, Kedar Karnik, and Laukik Bagwe. The recommended investment tenure is a minimum of 5 years. The prescribed asset allocation for the scheme if 95% to 100% in equity and equity-related securities and 0% to 5% in money market instruments. However, as of 1st July 2021, the asset allocation is 93.81% in equity and equity-related securities, 6.37% in debt instruments, and (0.18%) in cash and cash equivalents.

On 6th February 2012, Feeder Franklin Mutual Funds had launched DSP US Flexible Equity Fund- Growth. The fund has been in existence for the past 9 years.
NAV and Returns – The NAV of the fund as of 1st July 2021 is Rs 57.38. The risk-o-meter of the fund is very high risk. Hence, an investor must understand that their principal amount of investment will be at very high risk. Owing to the nature and asset class of the fund, an investor may expect volatility in their investments over the short term. DSP US Flexible Equity Fund-Growth is a 9-year-old fund. The scheme has delivered a return of 17% since its inception.
Minimum Investment – The fund requires a minimum SIP investment of Rs 1,000. However, the minimum amount for a lump sum investment is Rs 5,000
Expense Ratio and Exit Load – The fund charges an expense ratio of 2.41% on the units of the mutual funds. This charge is higher than the exit load charged by other funds in the same category The fund does not charge any exit load.
Fund Manager – The fund is being co-managed by Mr. Jay Kothari, Kedar Karnik, and Laukik Bagwe. Mr. Jay Kothari has been managing the fund since March 2013. With over 14 years of experience, he is the Vice President & Product Strategist at DSPIM. Mr. Laukik Bagwe possesses experience of 11 years. Currently, he manages the Fixed Income Investment team of DSP Investment managers. He has been managing the fund since August 2012. Mr. Kedar Karnik has been managing the fund since June 2020. Moreover, he possesses industry experience of 10 years.
Other Details – There is no lock-in period for the scheme. So, an investor can redeem an investment anytime without any redemption limit. As of 1st July 2021, the AUM of DSP US Flexible Equity Fund-Growth is Rs 441 cr. The fund benchmarks to Russell 3000 Growth PR USD. This fund is meant for investors with a minimum investment horizon of 5 years.
