I don't see all my long-term investments become eligible for rebalancing. Why?

Mutual fund companies have specific norms to withdraw units in case you hold less than 50 units. This is possibly why you don't see those investments when rebalancing, which starts with a withdrawal of long-term investments in funds we no longer recommend. These are some complexities Scripbox takes care of for you, behind the scenes. Specifically:

  • You cannot withdraw a portion of your total investments below 50 units e.g. you cannot withdraw 20 long-term units if you hold a total of 30 units in that fund
  • You can withdraw all your investments below 50 units e.g you can withdraw 30 long-term units if you hold a total of 30 units in that fund

Hope we helped! Why not get started with your Scripbox.
